Maggie's room

We just wanted to share pictures of Maggie's room. It is not quite done but we are getting there!

LOA BABY!!!!

We got a call this morning from our agency letting us know our LOA had arrived! It was a surprise because others had received LOAs earlier in the week. They usually come in batches and we thought we missed this group. We have already signed it and it is on the way back to China. Now we wait for our travel approval giving us the dates we can come. It looks like we will be leaving in about 6-8 weeks! We should get Maggie home before her second birthday on June 15. We did get updated pictures but have to make sure it is ok to post them. We are not sure about it since they came from an outside source not the CCAA. She has grown so much and is sooo cute!!! We are so excited!!!!!! Thank you all for your love and support!!!!

Care Package

We sent Maggie another care package through Ann at red thread china. We sent her an outfit, shoes, and a book. She added an elmo doll because she did not have the right shoes. We also added some candy for the nannies at the orphanage. She should get the package in a few days. Ann has been wonderful to work with! She even called the orphanage last time and got Maggie's current weight and height. She is 31 inches tall and weighs 20 lbs. She is a tiny little peanut!!! She has sent a letter with this package requesting some new pictures for us! So, we hope to have some new pictures of Maggie to post by the end of the week!!!

DAY 69

The wait for our LOA is getting more difficult by the day. There are other waiting families who have received their LOAs in as little as 55 days. Some have been waiting up to 100 days!!! When we do get our LOA, we should be able to travel about 6-8 weeks later. We are still holding out hope for May!
While we have been waiting we have been working on Maggie's room. It is almost done and is turning out really cute! We will try to post pictures of it soon.

Maggie's cousin Brady Fisher

We are so excited to share the arrival of Tiffany and Bryan's little boy! Brady Fisher was born March 7th at 4:27 am. He weighs 7lbs 9oz and is 21 inches long. He is just beautiful and we could not be happier for them!

DAY 60 WAITING FOR LOA

We have been waiting for our letter of approval from the CCAA for 60 days now. It could come any time now or take as long as another month or more. It is so hard to wait knowing she is there waiting on us! Our agency did send our homestudy update to the uscis today. Now they can process our immigration form for Maggie.

OUR LITTLE MAGGIE

After almost two years of waiting on January 5th, 2009 we saw our daughter's face for the first time. Now we wait for final approvals from the CCAA so we can travel to bring her home!!! We are so blessed!!!!
